About Site
This is an Alaskan website chronicling the rapid rise of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin.
Palin is a Maverick in Alaska in the same spirit as McCain. She opposed the famed “bridge to nowhere.” She’s a no-nonsense governor; she’s refused to have a personal driver or personal chef as most state governors are entitled to have. She also sold the state Governor’s jet.
Sarah Palin adds a lot to the ticket. Regardless of point-of-view, picking Palin makes this into a historic election either way! She opposed the Republican establishment in Alaska, and has taken a lot of shots from a lot of the old-timers up here. She’s stood against big oil companies in favor of giving more money to Alaskans. She was the Chair of the Oil and Gas Conservation Commission under Governor Murkowski, but later resigned citing ethics concerns under Murkowski’s governorship. Murkowski lost the primary to Palin, as the 2nd-to-least popular governor in the nation. Palin is now the most popular governor in the nation. She’s pro-life in the way that pro-life was meant to be, by example; she recently had a 5th child while in office born with down syndrome. She did not hesitate to have the child and embrace him whole-heartedly. Her daughter Bristol also leads by example, choosing to follow through with a teenage pregnancy and marry the father. Sarah Palin is young and beautiful. She was in Vogue magazine and was Ms. Wasilla in her hometown. She’s a fresh face. Alaska has been going through a lot of change recently and Palin’s been at the forefront. There is a concern that she is too young and inexperienced to be Vice President. But her executive experience far exceeds that of Obama as the McCain campaign has pointed out. Picking Palin either way makes this into a historic election. |
